Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Rkado ("Rkado", "we", "us") collects when you use the Rkado mobile apps and website (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
1. Information you give us
- Account: username, password (stored only as a secure hash), email address, and optional profile details such as display name, gender, date of birth, country, status message and profile/cover pictures.
- Content: messages in chat rooms, private and group chats, photos and voice notes you send, miniblog posts, comments, stories, gifts and reactions.
- Support: what you send when you contact us or file a report.
2. Information collected automatically
- Usage: rooms joined, games played, coin transactions, levels, missions and other in-app activity.
- Device and log data: IP address, device model, operating system, app version, login times, and crash and performance reports.
- Push token: to send you notifications you can turn off in your phone settings.
- Advertising ID: if the app shows ads, our ad partner may use your device's advertising ID. You can reset it or limit ad personalisation in your phone settings.
We do not collect your precise GPS location, contacts or call logs.
3. How we use information
- To run the Service: accounts, chat delivery, games, coins, gifts, levels and notifications.
- To keep it safe: detect spam, fraud, cheating and multi-account abuse; enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.
- To fix problems and improve the app (crash reports, performance).
- To communicate with you about your account, security and support.
- To show ads, where the app includes them.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who can see what you share
- Your username, profile, level and badges are visible to other users.
- Messages in public chat rooms are visible to everyone in that room.
- Private and group messages are visible to the people in that conversation.
- Miniblog posts and stories are visible according to how you share them.
5. Service providers we share data with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job for us:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
6. How long we keep data
- Public chat room messages: deleted automatically after about 7 days.
- Stories: removed after 24 hours.
- In-app notifications: about 30 days. Login records: about 90 days.
- Account, profile, coin and transaction records: while your account exists, then deleted as described in Delete Account, except records we must keep by law or for fraud prevention.
- Backups: overwritten on a rolling basis.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), passwords are hashed, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: edit your profile in the app, or ask us for a copy of your data.
- Deletion: delete your account as described on our Delete Account page.
- Notifications: turn them off in your phone settings.
- Blocking and reporting: block or report any user from their profile or the chat menu.

9. International users
Rkado is operated from Nepal and our providers may process data in other countries. We apply the protections in this policy wherever data is processed.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. When we make important changes we will tell you in the app or on this page, and update the date above.
